When I walked into the office today there was a distinct aroma of shenanigans and burning paper. Hector felt it appropriate to end the day on a peaceful note so he lit a candle and put it on top of the fishtank (Sounds innocent, right? A 1 inch flame above 50 gallons of water.) but what didn’t catch his eye was the big ole’ picture on the wall right above the tank.

Fire only needs 3 ingredients to work, heat, fuel and anger (anger may be substituted for oxygen). The fuel was provided by the picture, the anger provided by the candle’s hatred of unicorns, and the heat was provided by the FIRE. (I learned everything I need to know about fire from the movie Backdraft ).

Anyways, an intense 2 minutes later the fire was extinguished and the ash was sifted out of the fish tank. Fun times. Check out the burn on the wall. Someone was looking out for us after all!
