TGIF! Tremendously Grape In Flavor! That’s how it goes, right? WE went to Su-ishi today for lunch! Su-ishi is what I call sushi now since we were on our way to su-ishi today and were driving behind a car that corrected our pronunciation.

We're all pretty confident the camper shell was locking is the freshness of some su0ishi destined fish.

We go to Hyakumi Sushi (Su-ishi) Bar at least a few times a month. Although they mostly serve humans, the pictured dish of salmon steaks was for a bear a couple seats down from us. Nice guy! Lots of teeth!

I said 'hello, how are you?' to them in Japanese but they were from Northridge.

Anyway, we were inspired before we left to try and celebrate our frequent visits and our new designer Roger’s birthday so we asked the cooks to make a Goodie face roll. We figured they could because this work of art made it to our table.

Fancy Pants, Inc.

But they guy I spoke to said, “Dude, something like you want is super hard to do.” We settled for adding a new item to their menu that we lovingly called the ‘Goodie Roll’.

We are movers and shakers. Like a combo cement and moving truck.

So Roger is this great artist whose been here a few weeks now and we figured out his birthday even though he wouldn’t spill the beans. TOO BAD DUDE. TAKE YOUR GIFTS YA JERK. His presents included: Su-ishi, custom business cards and a soundtrack including all the songs I could find that included the word, ‘Roger’. I had Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, Buck Rogers, Kenny Rogers, Roger Rabbit and Roy Rogers just to name a few.

He also got cookies which I'm going to try and steal from him later today.

Our business cards are something we take very seriously around here. We ‘Goodieize’ each employee to be forever emblazoned on a 2″ x 3.5″ drivers license. We’ve been making these since we started 8 years ago (with a brief hiatus) and it’s something we’re sort of known for. Well, that and shirts I GUESS.

Looks just like him!

The food was AWESOME. If you don’t like su-ishi. then just equate it to mayonnaise slip-and-sliding or fart-googling or whatever it is you LOVE to do and you’ll understand why we’re all about the su-ishi over here. Our ‘Goodie Roll’ came out and although it was nothing like our blueprint that I lovingly mapped out, it was delicious!

Looks just like him!... n't.

Now Hector is great and very funny and very talented and I love him, but he always finds some way to be gross at su-ishi. WARNING: DO NOT STARE DIRECTLY INTO THE NEXT PHOTOGRAPH.

Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads...Gross. Sorry.

He consistently does something that’s just crazy, as evidenced by this reaction-gif we made from a previous trip to su-ishi. I think he was eating shrimp heads at the time, which might be fine for some people, but for me was more like:

Acting!

Anyway, just a little lunch update for all y’all. Oh and we finally settled on what our corporate gang sign will be. Corporations are mandated by law to have a gang sign so we know how to distinguish each other at corporate luncheons. You know, very normal business practices. Ours says, ‘Good’.

Now you know the Goodie gang sign. You in the gang?

‘Good’ indeed.
